Diabetes Home Care is located in our hometown of Crescent City, a rural community of 1800 residents 40 miles northwest of Daytona Beach. Our family has lived here for 46 years and all family children graduated from local schools. The Company has operated in a historical building complex (shown) since 1989. Our son, Barry as Sales Manager, Christine, Barry’s sister, as General Manager. Their mother, Carolyn and our dedicated staff provide service to our customers.

    We launched our Company at the American Diabetes Association convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. Yes, we were one of the first medical supply companies to offer and ship diabetic supplies Nationwide and accept Medicare and Private insurance assignment. Our presence at this convention earned us an invitation to the Juvunile Diabetes Association headquarters in New York City to present our program and services. 

Liberty Medical, a household name on TV now, started in South Florida several months later. In our early years Diabetes Home Care worked together with Liberty Medical and traveled to Washington DC with other supply companies to lobby Congress to preserve Medicare coverage for diabetic seniors.

    Operating as a family company, Diabetes Home Care has worked within our industry to promote diabetes cure. Diabetes Home Care has sponsored speakers at Medical forums, sponsored local golf touraments and educational seminars to promote Diabetes care and research.

Diabetes Home Care as small as we are was the first medical company to be an official associate sponsor in NASCAR in both the Nationwide (Busch) and Sprint Cup (Winton Cup) series bringing the message of Diabetes Care to race fans. Through our company sponsored local race team, Sugar Free Racing, we promoted proper diabetic care and prevention to school groups, health fairs and community events.

     Our company’s principle objective is building a relationship of respect and confidence with the diabetic patient. Diabetes Home Care strives to help you to better health and a simpler way of life.
